yes!! I spent forever looking for something like this!! all I have are dumbbells and I’ve been looking for something more to do with them for athletic prowess rather than useless muscle (for functional strength training)
I’m so happy I found this,
i do this man it is tough
Good exercises. I hadn’t tried the spider man or even ever heard of it but man does it mess you up (in a good way) if you hold it till failure. Thanks!

anyone gimme a link for football ( soccer ) related exercises or a search on utube please
@soccerfreak61621, there is certainly isometric contraction of the hamstring muscle taking place. And, i can think of some sport and health related fitness applications for this exercise.
But, the problem is in the description, ‘build your leg muscles..’ the exercise in this video is not really a hamstring muscle building exercise like for example a hamstring curl is.
@elitept Completely right, there in no way is a justifiable attempt at working hamstrings.
fart city!
good exercise . I can feel it working.
in wat ways does it help your hamstring??
Boring vid for stupid yank-bastards.
This is a Glute and lower back exercise.
There is no significant angle change at the knee(flexion) to justify this as primarily a hamstring exercise.
Just adding to my 1st comment :
I think of this movement as the bodyweight exercise equivalent of the Romanian (or stiff leg) deadlift.
This is especially so if the head+shoulders are also elevated (thus increasing the ROM by allowing the rear to drop all the way down), which results in the movement having the same ROM as the RDL.
This exercise can be improved by also placing the head and shoulders up on a platform, which will then work the hamstrings thru a fuller range of motion. The height of this platform should be such that the feet are about 6-12 inches higher than the head/shoulders.
This movement is also a good ab and lower back exercise.
I finally found one that was good.. Thanks!
funally found what i was looking for i just wanted to get fast and hamstring are a good body part to train for.
